2. What information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to deliver your audit report. This is:

• Your corporate email address, used solely to deliver your audit report
• Your lending bank name and sanctioned interest rate, entered by you on the tool page
• Your bank statement file (.xlsx or .pdf), uploaded voluntarily by you

We do not collect your name, mobile number, GSTIN, company registration number, or any government-issued identification unless you voluntarily include it in your uploaded file.

3. What we do NOT collect

We never ask for or collect:

• Net-banking credentials, passwords, or PINs of any kind
• Bank account numbers or IFSC codes
• Mobile OTPs or authentication codes
• Device location, GPS data, or IP address logs for profiling
• Browser cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking
• Any data from third-party social login or OAuth providers

4. How your uploaded file is used

Your uploaded bank statement is used for one purpose only: to run your interest audit calculation. The file is accessed by our team manually, the relevant figures (dates, closing balances, interest debit rows) are extracted, and the audit is performed. No automated system reads, indexes, or archives your statement.

We actively encourage you to redact or blur your company name, beneficiary names, and transaction narrations before uploading. The audit functions correctly with only the numerical data.

5. Data retention and deletion

All uploaded files are permanently and irreversibly deleted from our server cache within 24 hours of your audit report being transmitted to you. We do not maintain archives, backups, or cold storage copies of your statements beyond this window.

Your corporate email address is retained only long enough to deliver your report and any necessary follow-up. It is not added to any marketing list without your explicit, separate consent.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data or your uploaded files with any third party, including:

• Banks, lenders, or financial institutions
• Marketing platforms or advertising networks
• Data brokers or analytics aggregators
• Any government body, unless compelled by a valid legal order

If we are ever legally compelled to disclose data, we will notify you to the extent permitted by law before complying.

7. Analytics and site behaviour tracking

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how users interact with the VerifyRate interface — which sections are clicked, where users drop off, and which features are most used. Clarity captures anonymised interaction data (heatmaps, session replays). It does not capture the content of your uploaded file or your email address.

No advertising pixel, Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tag, or cross-site tracking script is present on this website.

8. Your rights

You may at any time:

• Request confirmation of whether we hold any data relating to your email address
• Request immediate deletion of your email from our records
• Request a copy of any data we hold associated with your submission

9. Children and minors

VerifyRate is a business-to-business tool intended for use by incorporated entities and adult business proprietors. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of VerifyRate after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
